The ADE7753ARSZ is a precision energy metering integrated circuit suitable for use in single-phase, two-wire distribution systems. It is designed to measure active power (real power), apparent power, and reactive power, making it ideal for a variety of applications including residential, commercial, and industrial energy meters. The IC can interface directly with current transformers (CT) and resistive shunts to sense current and with resistive dividers or voltage transformers to sense voltage. The ADE7753 includes a serial interface that allows for communication with a microcontroller.
